    Contributor Guidelines

    General
    Aspiring contributors should be proficient in drawing characters from Kohei Hirokoshi's hit series Boku no Hero Academia, specifically characters: Katsuki Bakugo, Eijiro Kirishima, Denki Kaminari, Mina Ashido, and Hanta Sero (i.e The BakuSquad).
    - Must be 18 Years Old Or Older
    - Must have a Discord Account / Be Willing To Create One    Sample Requirements
    As part of contributor applications, artists will be asked to submit 3 samples colored with a background of what they deem their best work. Artists may also submit a portfolio, however, this is optional.    - At least 1 of the samples must be from the BNHA fandom
    - Sample(s) must showcase the ability to draw any of BakuSquad members. (samples featuring all or most of the members are preferred)
    *NSFW samples are permitted.    Judging Criteria
    Those interested in applying as Merch Artists can also expect to be judged on the criteria both above and below, excluding the need for background. Those with previous merch experience are encouraged to provide links to created items via the portfolio section.
    - Lineart (if applicable) & Colour: Defined lineart (if the art style includes it) and consistent use of colour.
    - Anatomy & Composition: Understanding of human anatomy and proportions; overall balance of visual elements of the illustration.
    - Recognizability: Characters must be easily recognized regardless of the art style.
    - Pitch: You are encouraged to provide at least one pitch detailing possible ideas of what you would like to draw for the calendar. This can include month, season, theme, or holiday.    Expectations
    - Accepted contributors will be expected to illustrate all 5 members of the BakuSquad in works. However, this does not mean that specific members cannot be the focus of works.

    - What is Boom Brigade?
    Boom Brigade is an upcoming 2022-2023 Calendar with accompanying merch showcasing the BakuSquad and all five of its members Bakugo, Kirishima, Kaminari, Ashido, and Sero.    - Is there any age requirement?
    All aspiring contributors must be 18 years or older to apply.    - How many contributors will be accepted?
    We have an interest in accepting 20-25 Artists and 3-5 Merch Artists.    - How will contributors be compensated?
    It is our goal to provide every contributor with a full bundle of Boom Brigade. If sales allow additional compensation may be available.    - Are other characters outside of the BakuSquad allowed?
    Other characters are permitted to appear however as this is a BakuSquad Calendar the BakuSquad members should remain the focus of all works.    - Are ships allowed?
    As this is a gen project, the Bakusquad and its members should remain the focus. However, there is the potential for ships to be implied.    - Is NSFW content allowed?
    No, Boom Brigade is an SFW project.
